Firearm Safety and Self Defense. Thank you so much to our students and volunteers! #slavaukraini #selfdefense
Cheers to working with some fine gentlemen all week. Good luck and good hunting. #ukraine #police #training
Lovely pictures from today’s training. Thank you @vasyan_karpeliuk #sniper #donttreadonme #ukraine @blaser_official
This is my office. A beautiful spring day to work with a group of intelligent and motivated dudes. #donttreadonme #ukraine
(Turn on your sound) War and peace at the same time. A beautiful spring day punctuated by wailing air raid sirens, yet folks do what they need to do… groceries, haircut, walk the dog. Soldiers in uniform sitting with their kids at the playground, friends talk in hushed voices in restaurants, sharing footage from the front of shelling and fighting. Everyone has to eat, everyone needs to laugh.
Yet another week of training complete with a great collection of guys! Thank you to everyone for your hospitality, support, and friendship! Thanks for being so patient with me while I am learning about Ukraine, about your military, and your language. I came here to share my knowledge and experience, and yet every day I am learning new things, and my students are my teachers. Good luck to you all back at your units. #русскийкарабльидинахуй
In my darkest hour, in my greatest pain, I cried out for help, and there by my side stood my brothers. They could not carry my pain for me, they could not make my pain go away, but they supported me as best they knew how, so that I wasn’t alone in my time of weakness. Now, as Ukraine fights for its future, I owe a debt to answer this call, to help and support in any way I can. I cannot make the pain go away, I cannot carry all the people’s pain, but at least I can let the people know that in their time of need, someone stands by their side, and that they are not alone. #monarchdefense #warrior #scholar #secondamendment #defend #freedom. Sorry for the repost. Company commander asked me to not just blur but obscure any identifying markings completely.
Friends, can you help me to identify this round? It is fired from a BTR. I believe it’s a a 30mm cannon round, and I believe it has unexploded ordinance inside. A little boy was playing with it as his toy. #ukraine #uxo
Your donations go right here to what you see in this video. To a humanitarian NGO that sources donations from a non profit in Minnesota, and orders food and medicine by the truckload from Warsaw to distribute to battle torn areas.
I walked down the street looking for Andrii’s gym. Unlike in fairytales, he still needs to work, and I still need therapy for my bad knee. The police officer walks in front of me with his partner, well used AKS-74U hanging in front of his chest. He is clean-shaven and in his late 20s. He glances at me, decides I’m interesting and double takes back. He says something, to which a reply “do you speak English?” “Can you show some documents?” “What would you like to see? Passport?” I give him my passport and he asks “Where are you from?” “United States.” “Are you volunteer?” I reply yes, and he hands me back my passport and turns away without even looking at it. Being Asian in a historically white country means I don’t really blend in. Fortunately, everyone thus far has been kind, and I have not detected any racism whatsoever. (Picture is just for context)

"Brian was able to work with my injured friend so that he could experience the class despite crutches, and was able to adjust to each student as needed. Excellent class for those who already carry pepper-spray, or for those (like me) who thought they didn't need or know how to use it."
