Special Purpose Rifle is where we push the boundaries of modern tactical riflecraft. This is for students who already understand and have mastered the basics, and wish to progress into the pinnacle of advanced close quarter, long range, night time, high speed, and high precision shooting. 

This is a technical and teamwork training, which will be intense physically and mentally. It is not for the weak or the faint of heart. You will shoot, move, target identify, practice camouflage, stealth, observation, radio communication, land navigation, and follow basic tactical principles of movement and mission planning. You will range targets manually, gauge the wind by feel, calculate firing solutions quickly without ballistic calculators, shoot from tree branches, backpacks, field expedient rests, through buildings, under vehicles, and from attics. You will be able to move, shoot, communicate, navigate, and target identify in the day or in the dark, no matter the weather. 

This class is part of the Combat Rifle School. We schedule small group instruction based upon the your request. This program consists of the following 50 unique training modules, plus additional practical and field exercises. Our facility is in the mountains 1 hour east of San Jose, 1 hour south from Livermore. Email admin@monarchdefense.org for driving directions. 

Packing list: 

4 quarts or 1 gallon of water
Rite in the Rain waterproof notebook, pencil, pen, permanent marker
Sturdy boots or hiking shoes, bring a backup
Wool socks, one pair per day
2 sets minimum of sturdy shirt and pants, such as OCP Fire retardant combat uniform
Undershirt, one per day
Long underwear
Pants belt, suspenders recommended
Cold weather jacket, such as m65 field jacket, British smock
Subdued color Goretex rain jacket and pants, or military poncho
Subdued color gloves, such as Nomex flight gloves
Subued color watch cap, aka beanie
Layer garments so you can adjust for cold, wet, or warm weather
Boonie hat with vegetation loops
Rifle with 10+ magazines 
200+ rounds of ball ammunition

We have weapons, magazines, magazine carriers, load bearing equipment, pistols, holsters, night vision, armor, helmet, backpacks, etc. for you to borrow all for free. All you need to do is communicate clearly in advance what you need to borrow, and clean what you used before turning it back in.

We can supply all the ammunition you need for $80 per person per day. We can take cash, Zelle to info@monarchdefense.org, or Venmo to brian-wang-11. Coordinate this with your instructor well in advance.
