Home Defense Class 11FEB24

Over the years our most requested type of firearm training has been specifically for the purpose of protecting family in the event of a burglary, home invasion, or other violent crime in and around the home. In this class, we seek to understand how criminals think, how they choose victims for home break-ins and burglaries, and how best to defend yourself with a firearm in the confines of urban structures.

All weapon types are welcome for this class. You can use your own gear, or we can provide weapons and ammunition for you.

Prerequisite:

Firearm Safety Class

Time:

9am to 3pm

By signing up you agree to stay until the class finishes, help clean up the range, and to debrief with the other students.

Location:

Our facility is located in the mountains 1 hour east of San Jose. We will email detailed driving directions to those who sign up.

Required Equipment:

Pencil and paper
1 gallon of water
Sturdy outdoor clothing (We train rain or shine)
Eye protection
Ear protection
Personal weapons optional

Notes:

If you are bringing a rifle or carbine, bring 100+ rounds of ammunition and 2+ magazines.

If you are bringing a shotgun, bring 10 rounds of buckshot and 75 rounds of birdshot; no steel shot.

If you are bringing a pistol or revolver, bring 100+ rounds of ammunition and 2+ magazines or speed loaders.

If you’re using our school’s equipment, you can use any rifle, pistol, shotgun, or revolver as you please, or try out different weapons, with unlimited ammunition.
