Firearm Safety Class 20Jan24

Beginners interested in learning the right way, start here.
Experienced students seeking to fill gaps in their knowledge regarding Use of Force, weapons handling, and self defense psychology, start here.
Firearms and ammunition are provided. You do not need to bring any of your own.
Ask detailed questions, learn, explore, and play with all the show and tell things we’ve prepared for you.
We will begin together and end together. The class ends when we debrief and clean up, no sooner. If you sign up, plan to stay for the entirety of the class.
This is a two part class. Day 1 is demonstration, discussion, and dry practice. Day 2 is dry practice and live fire. Both days are 6 hours long. When registering, take a look at the following list of dates, and let us know by email which date you prefer for your live fire range day:

The role of weapons in society

Live fire demonstration of buckshot, concealed carry, home defense, and rifle marksmanship
Comparison of power, lethality, maneuverability, ammunition capacity, effective range, accuracy, price, and ease of use
Safe firearm loading and unloading procedures
Day 2:
How to hold, aim, and shoot pistol, revolver, rifle, and shotgun
Shooting range etiquette
Live fire shooting experience with steel targets and “the buffet” of guns and ammo

Location:
Our facility is in the mountains 1 hour east from San Jose, or 1 hour south from Livermore. If you are an unskilled or inexperienced driver, give yourself 2 hours to make the drive from most cities of the bay area. We will email detailed driving instructions to you when you sign up.

Each participant should register using his or her own unique name and email address.
We offer the Firearm Safety program as often as feasible to meet anticipated demand. Currently we offer the class roughly every month.
During the winter months it can be very cold, so bring warm clothes. In the summer months it is very hot, so stay in the shade and drink water. During spring and fall the weather is perfect.
Cancellations: We do not offer refunds for discretionary cancellations. If you wish to reschedule a class, you must email info@monarchdefense.org no later than 1 hour prior to class start, and you will then be credited with the value of your course, which you can gift to someone else or use for any future class within 1 year.
