Competition Prep and 2-Gun Practice 15SEP24

Let’s give you guys tuned up on moving and shooting, safe weapons handling, and particularly for those interested in joining upcoming shooting matches, a chance to understand the unique shooting competition environment in modern action shooting sports, and the rules, expectations. Our specific focus this day will be training for 2 gun under United Multigun League rules, to get folks ready for competition on 9/29/24 at Richmond rod and gun club. You do not need to be competing on 9/29 to join our practice session. It will be a great opportunity for hands on trigger time for all.

Bring a pistol and a carbine. I will mock up a few competition style stages for you to get lots of repetition.

Enjoy Monarch Defense’s dedicated private tactical training facility, steel targets, 300 degrees of fire, 800 foot tall backstops; The only one of it’s kind in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Range opens at 9am, cease fire at 3pm. Meet new friends, hang out, shoot, move, communicate, learn about upcoming classes, eat, drink and be merry, clean guns, enjoy nature, BBQ! We have target stands, paper targets, steel targets, and all sorts of props and barricades for you to practice with.

While the event formally ends at 3pm, you are welcome to stay later and practice on your own informally. Everyone must pick up brass and help clean up.

Location:

300 acre private facility in the Diablo mountains, 1 hour east of San Jose, 1 hour south of Livermore. Cell reception is unreliable out here; Do not trust Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Wayz. Detailed driving directions will be emailed to those who register. 2 wheel drive accessible.

Cost:

Open range day is $75 standard price, and $37.50 active military, veterans, and Monarch Defense students who have taken a class within 12 months.

What is the cancellation policy?

We do not issue refunds, except for in extreme and unforeseeable circumstances. Notify us by email at info@monarchdefense.org before 1 hour before class starts, and we will happily apply your full credit towards a future event or class. You must use your credit within 1 calendar year from original event or class date.
