Camouflage Class 19MAY24

In this class we will learn how to blend in with the environment, understand what attracts attention from the enemy, learn how to build ghillie suits, and take turns searching for and hiding from each other.

None.

Hands on exercise to make ghillie suits
Using natural vegetation as camouflage
Face paint
Painting weapons
Camouflage for tripods, rucksacks, and vehicles
Searching techniques
Observation games to practice finding hidden people and objects
Practical exercise

Schedule: 

8:45 am Setup, issue out weapons and equipment 
9:00 am Safety brief and theory
11:00 Hands on ghillie suit building, rifle painting etc.
3:00 pm Practical exercises
7:00 pm Debrief, clean up, go home 

Location:

Our facility is in the mountains 1 hour east of San Jose, 1 hour south from Livermore. Detail directions will be emailed to those who sign up. If you are inexperienced in driving mountain roads, give yourself 2 hours to make the trip.

Camouflage top and bottom, such as US Army OCP/Multicam
Layer garments so you can adjust for cold, wet, or warm weather
Boonie hat with foliage loops
Rifle rated body armor
Chest rig, plate carrier, or magazine carrier.
Rifle, any caliber (school can provide weapons free of charge, contact us for info)
1 magazine
Sling
1 gallon of water
Salty snacks and bag lunch
