Basic Combat Rifle 1JUN24

Welcome to the much anticipated 2024 Combat Rifle Series! This program consists of four two-day immersive classes, that will cover all topics having to do with combat rifle craft, starting with the basics, and going all the way into night vision, close quarter battle, long range shooting and snipercraft. Classes include:
June 1-2, 2024 – Basic Combat Rifle
July 6-7, 2024 – Advanced Combat Rifle
August 3-4, 2024 – Special Purpose Rifle
September 7-8, 2024 – Tactical Precision Rifle
Prerequisite:
You must have prior safe weapons handling experience.
Description:
Basic Combat Rifle will introduce to the student all the basic skills necessary for using his primary weapon safely, effectively, and confidently. All students will learn weapon manipulation, shooting fundamentals, basic ballistic theory, zeroing procedures, and hit all targets at any distance less than or equal to 400 meters.

Standards for Accuracy:
- 4 minutes of angle with iron sights or red dots with standard ammunition from unsupported prone, corresponding to 400m effective range on man sized target.
- 2 minutes of angle with low power magnified optic and standard ammunition from supported prone, corresponding to 800m effective range on man sized target.
- 1 minute of angle with high power magnified optic, free float barrel, match trigger, and match ammunition from supported prone, corresponding to 1600m effective range on man sized target.

Our facility is in the mountains 1 hour east of San Jose, 1 hour south from Livermore. Detail directions will be emailed to those who sign up.
