Lytle Creek Firing Line
Lytle Creek Rd, Lytle Creek, CA 92358
Students, friends, and fellow second amendment supporters: Welcome to the proving ground for the modern Warrior Scholar.
This fast paced event is open to all shooters with prior safe gun handling experience. It is NOT the venue for learning the basics or trying your equipment for the first time. While many of us own guns, few get to train often. Rarely do we have the chance to draw from the holster, shoot on the move, engage multiple threats, or conduct teamwork and problems solving drills alongside like minded friends. Dynamic Drills Day is an event specifically designed to offer what the “Square Range” doesn’t: Guided, safe, and challenging shooting exercises that will stretch you mentally, physically, and emotionally. Join fellow students of gunfighting, the modern martial art, as we train hard and shoot fast. Test your limits of precision and speed under mild to severe stress. Push yourself to be faster, stronger, smarter and be better prepared to protect your loved ones in time of violent emergency.
Bring whatever handgun, shotgun, or carbine you’d like. If you’ve never used a holster before, we’ll go over how to do so safely in the morning. I would recommend bringing 300+ rounds of ammunition. Rifles, pistols, and shotguns are all welcome, but please no steel core ammunition or “Green Tip” M855. Frangible rifle ammunition is optional if you wish to train on steel targets. For shotguns, bring buckshot, birdshot, and slug with lead shot only. Eye and ear protection, as well as closed-toe shoes are mandatory. Please dress for the weather, and bring water. We shoot rain or shine.
Cost for the event will be $95. Register with a buddy and take $20 discount per person! Be one of the first 6 customers to register early using promo code ‘EARLY20’ for an additional $20 off!
Q: Is there an age limit to enter the event?
A: Parental discretion for children is all that we ask. Generally teenagers on up, so long as they have handled firearms before, will do fine. Parents need to be present for minors.
Q: I don’t have a holster, is that okay?
A: You really should bring a holster for this event. Make sure it is of quality construction, form fitted to your handgun, and securely attached to your body.
Q: Can I wear/shoot a backup gun for the drills?
A: Yes by all means, you are welcome to use a second or third gun as you wish.
Q: My friend wants to attend, but he/she has never shot before. Can he/she come?
A: This event really isn’t appropriate for a first time gun-handler. You can invite him or her to observe, or contact me to schedule an appropriate first class.
Q: What can/can’t I bring to the event?
A: Do not consume any alcohol or mind altering substances before or during the shooting. Once we have finished and packed up you are welcome to crack open a cold one if you wish. Dogs are allowed on the facility, and there is shade and water where they can hang out. Please no steel core, armor piercing, incendiary, or tracer ammunition.
Q: How can I contact the organizer with my questions?
A: Brian Wang is the event organizer. He can be reached at 408-892-5460 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Q: What is the refund policy?
A: Refunds are not accepted for this event. Credit can be applied toward future classes or events with 7 days advanced notice.
Notes on equipment and California compliance:
Bring what you have, don’t stress about it. If it doesn’t work, we can loan you a set. If you want to borrow weapons or equipment, email us ahead of time at email@example.com.
In general, consider building featureless. Magazines – standard capacity mags are welcome. Slings – Keep it simple. Optics – Keep it simple.
