Shotgun Gunfighter

Description

Shotgun Gunfighter will allow you to master loading, unloading and firing a shotgun aggressively and dynamically against moving targets, in the dark, in the context of self defense within urban confines.

If you have just bought your first shotgun, are interested in owning one, or are interested in beginning your journey in tactical firearm training, you should begin with our firearm safety class, home defense class, and introduction to defensive handgun and introduction to fighting rifle before attending this program.

Time:

6pm to 10pm, and you may stay later to practice

Location:

Our facility one east of San Jose, and one hour south of Livermore. Those who sign up will receive an automated email with driving directions in great detail.

Topics:

What is a shotgun, what does it do, and what we do with it
Use of force doctrine review
Loading and unloading procedures
Shotgun wound ballistics and human anatomy
Fundamentals of stance, swing, and recoil management
Buckshot, what is it and why we use it
High speed/high stress dynamic drills
Engaging moving targets in the dark

Required Equipment:

Shotgun
100 rounds of birdshot or target load
25 rounds of buckshot
Slugs are optional but not required
Water
Sturdy shoes
Sturdy outdoor clothing (We train rain or shine)
Eye protection
Ear protection

Recommended Equipment: 

Salty snacks
Flashlight
Leather work gloves

Keep it simple; Bring whatever you have and we’ll make it work.
