Introduction to Fighting Rifle will allow you to master the foundational knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to employ a rifle or carbine in self defense, or to put it another way, the martial art and science of combat rifle craft. If you have just bought your first rifle, are interested in owning a rifle, or are interested in starting your journey in formal tactical firearm training, Introduction to Fighting Rifle is your opportunity to get started in a moderately paced, thorough, and beginner friendly environment. This two day class is offered four times per year.

Firearm Safety and Self Defense highly recommended
Basic understanding of firearm safety
Basic understanding of how to load and unload a rifle

This class is funded by donation. A suitable amount is $250, or $125 per day, but I will accept anything between $50 and $250 per person per day.

If you need ammo, you can contact Brian at, or call 408-892-5460.

We supply weapons and equipment free of charge. We have a wide selection of rifles you can choose from, to include AR15, Ak47, Mini14, M1A, MP5 etc.

Valley of Orion, in the vicinity of Mount Hamilton and San Antonio Valley. 1 hours east of San Jose, 1 hour south from Livermore. Detailed directions will be emailed to those who sign up.

This class is designed to take 16 hours, having said that, we can only progress at the students’ pace, so some classes will go longer, and some classes will end sooner. I expect if you sign up, that you commit your weekend to training, and that you come on time and stay to the end to help clean up and debrief.

If you need to borrow equipment, you should plan to arrive 30 minutes early, so that we can get you outfitted with your gear.

Unless otherwise specified, day 1 starts at 12 noon and day 2 ends at 5pm.
