Morgan Hill classes:
Meet at the pro shop at 9am, where you will need to check in at the counter and fill out an electronic liability waiver. We will circle up on the back patio and wait for any stragglers to arrive, before making ourselves comfortable in the classroom. We’ll discuss class until you get hungry, alternating hands on vs talking blocks of instruction, and taking breaks regularly as needed. You can buy very good BBQ there at the range, or snacks and drinks at the pro shop. Dogs are welcome. We fit 40+ students per class.

For Fremont classes: Meet in the parking lot in front of Black Dog Armory at 10am. We will head inside and make ourselves comfortable in the classroom. Before we begin, and on breaks, you are welcome to browse the inventory of firearms, ammunition and accessories. There are many restaurants nearby. You can pack a lunch or run out and buy something to eat in the classroom as we continue our class. Make sure you lock your car doors and take valuables with you, the parking lot is not secure. We fit a max of 24 students per class, as the classroom is small.

For San Jose classes: Meet at the clubhouse, which is on the left side/shotgun side of the facility. You will need to climb stairs, so for those who cannot climb stairs, park on the far left side of the parking lot and you can walk the gentle slope uphill, past all the shotgun fields towards the clubhouse on the right. We will  have complementary coffee for everyone. Bring a lunch, as there is are no good cafes or restaurants nearby for lunch. The classroom can hold 40+ students.

In general, ask detailed questions, learn, explore, and play with all the show and tell things we’re preparing for you. You don’t need any special equipment or clothing.

Price Breakdown
Tuition is $75, facility fee is $10. If you have already purchased a 3rd party promotional voucher, then please choose “Range Fee Only” under ticket type, verify the correct date, then send a copy of your voucher in an email to admin@monarchdefense.org, including the barcode and the all number 5-8 digit voucher code.

Can I bring my own gun to practice with? Yes, but only if you are willing to let other students try it.
If I have a 3rd party promotional voucher, how do I sign up? Choose the “Range Fee and Ammo only” option at checkout, then submit a copy of your voucher barcode to admin@monarchdefense.org. We redeem your voucher when you schedule, rather than when you attend class. This is for 3 reasons: it reduces administrative burden and wasted time on the day of class, it discourages customers from no-showing, and allows you to gain the full value of your voucher before it expires, even if your class is past the promotions expiration date.
What is the age limit for this class? We do not have a set age limit for this class, but typically puberty is a suitable starting age for youths to learn firearm safety. An adult, preferably parent or legal guardian, must accompany all minors.
Can I take pictures? Yes.
What is the refund/reschedule policy? You can reschedule at any time up to 1 hour before class start as long as you email Brian at info@monarchdefense.org and submit your reschedule request. No-Call & No-show = no refund and no reschedule. We do not offer refunds unless under rare circumstances we messed something up, or otherwise need to cancel. Make sure you check your spam folder settings, as we will not be offering refunds or sympathy for folks who missed important notifications because of their spam filter settings. We send out all important communications via Email; Plan accordingly.
How can I contact the organizer with my questions? Brian Wang is the event organizer. He can be reached at 408-892-5460 or info@monarchdefense.org
