Fighting Rifle (FR2) will give you an opportunity to fine tune and build proficiency in the skills introduced to you in Introduction to Fighting Rifle (FR1). Be prepared to work your skills from your previous class at higher standards, elevated intensity and stress levels.


Introduction to Fighting Rifle (FR1)


This class is funded by donation. A recommended donation amount is $125 per person per day, but we will accept anything between $50 and $250 per person per day.

Ammo for this class is separate from tuition, and if you need us to supply ammo, please include a note during checkout or contact us at



We can only teach the class at the students’ pace. If you wish to attend this class, you must stay until we end so that we may debrief, turn in borrowed equipment, and clean up. Clear your schedule, and expect to be in class for the entire day. Students leaving early is a huge distraction, unfair to others, and it wastes time for everyone.


Valley of Orion, in the vicinity of Mount Hamilton and San Antonio Valley. 1 hours east of San Jose, 1 hour south from Livermore. Detailed directions will be emailed to those who sign up.

Master marksmanship fundamentals: sight picture, breathing, trigger etc.

Water (1 gallon per day per person minimum)

Sturdy outdoor clothing (We train rain or shine)

We can supply you with a rifle. Just add a note to the comment field when you are signing up that you need a set of gear. There is no charge for this.

You can bring your own ammo or use ours, please specify in the order notes during checkout. There is a charge for using our ammunition.

Change of clothes
Spare socks
Extra jackets and weather appropriate clothing
Folding chair
Knee pads
Rifle rated body armor (loaners available upon request)
Chest rig, battle belt, plate carrier, load bearing equipment, or other way to carry essentials such as magazines, water, etc.

Cancellation Policy: 

There is no penalty to reschedule your class as long as you provide written notice at least 1 hour before the start of class by email to Your credit is good for 1 year. We do not provide refunds.
