Fighting Rifle 3 is an evolution of the former Skill Builder series of courses. It is an extremely tiring and detailed day of training that will help you to master the skills and knowledge of combat rifle craft. Our focus will be on the principles of Close Quarter Battle, or moving, fighting, and problem solving in urban spaces.

This class, while physically intense, is also extremely academic. You may want to film yourself or take notes to review later, as the sheer volume of new material can be overwhelming. Prepare yourself ahead of time with sleep, stretching, nutrition, hydration, and exercise. You will be sore.

I highly recommend that you take Introduction to Fighting Rifle (Fighting Rifle 1) before joining this class. Having said that, some of you will want to skip the prerequisite. If you can confidently and correctly answer the following questions, go ahead and skip the prereq.

  1. What is Fragmentation Velocity?
  2. What is your maximum ordinate height?
  3. At 25 yards, you shoot a 1.5″ group. How many MOA is your group?
  4. What is your maximum point blank range?
  5. At 50 yards, you shoot a group 3.5 inches left and 7 inches low. How many minutes of angle do you need to adjust? How many clicks is that?
