Defensive Handgun 3, Self Defense in the Urban Environment continues upon the foundation you built in DH1 and DH2. It is a technical day of training that will help you to understand the foundational skills and knowledge of employing handguns in Close Quarter Battle; In other words, how to move, fight, and problem solve in urban spaces. In short, this is the actual “how-to” self defense portion of our curriculum. Everything leading up to this is simply to build a basic understanding of how to safely and properly operate the equipment. This is the full application of techniques into the context of human conflict.

This class, is physically tiring but also extremely academic. You should take detailed notes, as the sheer volume of new material can be overwhelming. Prepare yourself ahead of time with sleep, stretching, nutrition, hydration, exercise, and a thorough mastery of basic weapons handling.
