DESCRIPTION:Close Quarter Defensive Handgun is a technical training module which will build upon the weapons handling skills that we introduced during Basic Defensive Handgun\, then add and refine the skills necessary for students to succeed in high stress\, high speed close range self defense engagements.  \nNote the difference between technical and tactical training. Technical training modules like this one focus on hardware and skill development\, whereas tactical training modules are focused on decision making and problem solving.  \nIf a private citizen must conduct armed self defense\, it will invariably be within an urban environment\, such as in and around cars\, parking lots\, homes\, offices\, or local businesses. Violent assault is raw\, primal\, and favors the aggressive. DESCRIPTION:Night Combat Rifle is a technical training which will provide the student with an introduction to night time operations\, including the specialized equipment necessary for success\, as well as the challenges and difficulties found in this environment. Our goal is for students to feel comfortable and at home in the dark\, and confident with their equipment\, such that they can begin to gain the tactical advantages of night time operations. You can expect the pace of this class to be slow and methodical\, as in the dark\, your safety is more important than speed. We provide rifles\, lasers\, helmets\, night vision\, and thermal scopes. You do not need to bring your own in order to attend this class. If you have your own gear\, you are welcome to bring and use it.  \nThis class is part of the Combat Rifle School.
