DESCRIPTION:D.O.P.E. is an acronym that stands for “data on prior engagements”. Generally you think of a rifle’s zero as calibrating the rifle’s point of impact to the point of aim at one distance. In long distance rifle shooting we actually have a baseline zero like normal\, then we gather as many as possible additional zeros at known distances in order to gather data to predict future shots.  \nExpect our training to begin by confirming zero at 100 meters on paper\, then we will move back to shoot at steel targets from 100 meters all the way out to 1000 meters.  \nRemember\, we can provide for you all weapon systems\, scopes\, ammunition\, and equipment. You are certainly welcome to bring and use your own\, but buying expensive gear is not necessary to participate in this training course. Always communicate proactively with the instructor if you need to use the school’s equipment and ammunition so that we can prepare for you.  \nThis class is part of the Combat Rifle School. We schedule small group instruction based upon the your request.
