DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the much anticipated 2024 Combat Rifle Series! This program consists of four two-day immersive classes\, that will cover all topics having to do with combat rifle craft\, starting with the basics\, and going all the way into night vision\, close quarter battle\, long range shooting and snipercraft. Classes include:  \nJune 1-2\, 2024 – Basic Combat RifleJuly 6-7\, 2024 – Advanced Combat RifleAugust 3-4\, 2024 – Special Purpose RifleSeptember 7-8\, 2024 – Tactical Precision Rifle \nPrerequisite: \n\n\n\nYou must have prior safe weapons handling experience.  \n\n\n\nDescription:  \nTactical Precision Rifle Rifle builds upon your foundation of basic riflecraft\, and focuses on extending your effective range to 1200 meters and beyond\, using either the gas operated or bolt action sniper rifle. We provide all weapon systems\, scopes\, ammunition\, and equipment. You are certainly welcome to bring and use your own\, but buying expensive gear is not necessary.  \nWhereas during Special Purpose Rifle we were focused on engaging man sized targets out to 800 meters\, in a fast but “sloppy” manner\, as you take the next step forward in your growth and skills development with Tactical Precision Rifle\, we are now interested in maximizing precision\, despite constraints of the field environment\, finely tuning your “firing solution” and “DOPE” to the exact weather conditions\, wind\, and distance of the target.  \nThis process takes more care in range estimation\, wind estimation\, calculations regarding spindrift\, greater care when delivering the shot\, and greater communication and teamwork when spotting the splash or hit. In this class we must master new types of equipment\, such as tripods\, spotting scopes\, high caliber rifles\, anemometers\, ballistic calculators\, and chronographs\, but the fundamentals of precision shooting are always the same\, and once you understand the principles\, then we will turn our focus towards speed and performance under stress.  \nNumber of days: 2 \nLocation: \nOur facility is in the mountains 1 hour east of San Jose\, 1 hour south from Livermore. While weapons and gear are free to borrow\, we ask you to clean everything you used before turning it back in. We can supply all the ammunition you need\, including match ammunition\, for $80 per person per day. Simply choose the “Ammunition” ticket option during checkout.  \n\n\n\n\nWhat is the cancellation policy? \nWe do not issue refunds\, except for in extreme and unforeseeable circumstances.
