DESCRIPTION:Today in the United States we are blessed to have an amazing selection of options for buying\, building\, and customizing AR15 or AR10 style rifles to perfectly fit the user’s needs and desires. Unfortunately this leads us to a new problem: Too many choices! How do you choose which parts to buy and use on your perfect rifle build? It takes years to sift through forums\, YouTube videos\, how-to guides\, and gun shop scuttlebutt to figure out what you need\, why\, and how to build it. \nIn this class I present to you 20 years of experience using\, and training professionally with the AR15/AR10 family of weapons. I have seen tens of thousands of students and their rifles and observed what works\, what doesn’t work\, what falls off or breaks\, and what is a waste of money. I will give you all the skills necessary\, to properly build\, and maintain your perfect rifle. I have striven to design a thorough hands on learning experience\, with the most detail in the shortest time possible. Expect 50% of your training to be talking\, and the other 50% to be hands on with weapons handling\, shooting\, moving etc. \nMy name is Brian Wang. I have been teaching firearm safety\, self defense\, and the combat use of firearms for 12 years professionally.  I have been a teacher since 2006. I have trained kung fu since 2007. I completed sniper school in 2010. I have been licensed to carry a concealed weapon since 2013. I have traveled the country to learn from the best mentors and take the best instructor certification programs available. I have been to war and watched friends die. I have survived a guided missile\, helicopter rockets\, artillery bombardment\, aviation bombs\, strafing by infantry fighting vehicle cannon\, and illness on the front line. I have been the victim of burglary\, arson\, unlawful arrest\, and domestic violence. I have eaten bologna sandwiches in jail\, and won in court. I am a father and a husband and a small business owner. I have taught over 10\,000 students in Florida\, Texas\, Arizona\, Arkansas\, Nevada\, Ukraine\, and California. I own and operate at 300 acre dedicated tactical training facility only 1 hour from the bay area. DESCRIPTION:Combat Rifle Fundamentals is a technical marksmanship class which will teach the student the skills necessary to shoot a rifle accurately and confidently up to 4 minutes of angle which equates to 100% hit probability on a man sized target at 400 meters. Our primary focus in shooting stance will be to learn the Rifleman’s prone position\, also known as unsupported prone positions. DESCRIPTION:In precision long range rifle shooting\, distance and elevation corrections are very predictable and easy to calculate. That is a science. On the other hand\, feeling the wind\, seeing the wind\, predicting the wind\, knowing how the wind flows – how the sun\, weather\, oceans\, and mountains affects the flow of air over the earth – that is an art that takes nuance and experience to master. In this module I will present to you key concepts for how to visualize how the wind is moving\, then a few simple quick mathematical formulas for how to estimate how much the wind will effect your bullet in flight\, and how to compensate for it. Then\, we will practice together\, and on your own you will practice\, and practice\, and practice.  \nExpect our training to begin by confirming zero at 100 meters on paper\, then we will move to the western ridge to engage targets across the valley between 400 and 1200 meters distance with distinct and challenging cross winds.  \nOur goal is to build up your experience reading the wind\, such that you can reliably achieve first round impacts on man sized targets at 600 meters\, 2nd round impacts out to 1000 meters.   \nRemember\, we can provide for you all weapon systems\, scopes\, ammunition\, and equipment. DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Monarch Defense’s Firearm Safety Class. This is a pro bono community service project led by myself\, Brian Wang\, and assisted by many donors and volunteers each month who have helped to make this program a lasting success. Over the last 12 years of teaching professionally\, I have striven to design a thorough hands on learning experience which answers all of the questions that you need to know to get started\, especially with regards to experiential knowledge that you must learn by doing and can’t just find online. This program exists to prepare you for a successful future in protecting yourself\, so that you can make wise decisions regarding buying\, learning\, carrying\, and using firearms. \nLearn:  \nSafe firearm handling procedures\nFirearm disassembly\, cleaning\, and reassembly\nRole of weapons in society \nHow to load\, unload\, stand\, hold\, aim\, and fire pistols\, revolvers\, rifles\, and shotguns.\nExperience first hand the recoil\, weight\, noise\, ease or difficulty of use\, and accuracy of different firearms \nPrerequisites: \nNone \nSpecial Policy Regarding Minors:  \nMonarch Defense welcomes youngsters to our firearm safety program\, and we will donate both tuition and ammunition for their learning. It is completely free to bring your teens or children to class. We leave it up to parents and guardians to decide at what age your child is ready to learn. Parent or guardian must be in the class with minors under 18. DESCRIPTION:Today in the United States we are blessed to have an amazing selection of options for buying\, building\, and customizing AR15 or AR10 style rifles to perfectly fit the user’s needs and desires. Unfortunately this leads us to a new problem: Too many choices! How do you choose which parts to buy and use on your perfect rifle build? It takes years to sift through forums\, YouTube videos\, how-to guides\, and gun shop scuttlebutt to figure out what you need\, why\, and how to build it. \nIn this class I present to you 20 years of experience using\, and training professionally with the AR15/AR10 family of weapons. I have seen tens of thousands of students and their rifles and observed what works\, what doesn’t work\, what falls off or breaks\, and what is a waste of money. I will give you all the skills necessary\, to properly build\, and maintain your perfect rifle. I have striven to design a thorough hands on learning experience\, with the most detail in the shortest time possible. I have been teaching firearm safety\, self defense\, and the combat use of firearms for 11 years professionally.  I have been a teacher since 2006. I have trained kung fu since 2007. I completed sniper school in 2010. I have been licensed to carry a concealed weapon since 2013. I have traveled the country to learn from the best mentors and take the best instructor certification programs available. I have been to war and watched friends die. I have survived a guided missile\, helicopter rockets\, artillery bombardment\, aviation bombs\, strafing by infantry fighting vehicle cannon\, and disease. I have been the victim of burglary\, arson\, unlawful arrest\, and domestic violence. I have eaten bologna sandwiches in jail\, and won in court. I am a father and a husband and a small business owner. I have taught over 10\,000 students in Florida\, Texas\, Arizona\, Arkansas\, Nevada\, Ukraine\, and California. DESCRIPTION:In this final module of the Tactical Precision Rifle Series\, we will put everything that you have learned together to help you develop as a well practiced\, cohesive\, and confident shooter and team member. You will be responsible for finding the distance to your target\, for zeroing your weapon\, for developing firing solutions\, for spotting each other\, and for estimating your own wind calls. In other words\, all other CR and TPR modules were simply to prepare you for starting your actual training now.  \nRemember\, we can provide for you all weapon systems\, scopes\, ammunition\, and equipment. You are certainly welcome to bring and use your own\, but buying expensive gear is not necessary to participate in this training course. During Advanced Combat Rifle we put it all together and proof test everything that you have learned so far. Show me you have mastered all of the basics\, and I will show you an advanced practitioner of the martial art and science of riflecraft. SUMMARY:New Shooter Vetting Orientation 12OCT25
DESCRIPTION:This event is for those who have experience and would like to use our private range for unsupervised\, non-instructional practice. Learn about our facility\, how to set it up and use it safely\, clean up procedures\, scheduling procedure\, safety policies\, and do some shooting while you are out here. Bring whatever guns you want to shoot\, bring a bunch of ammo and a bag lunch. All weapon types are welcome. Everyone\, including spectators must fill out a liability waiver. If you want to shoot\, the price is $75 per person or $37.50 for active and former military. Former Monarch Defense students pay $37.50\, and current Monarch Defense students practice for free.
