DESCRIPTION:Night Combat Rifle is a technical training which will provide the student with an introduction to night time operations\, including the specialized equipment necessary for success\, as well as the challenges and difficulties found in this environment. \nOur goal is for students to feel comfortable and at home in the dark\, and confident with their equipment\, such that they can begin to gain the tactical advantages of night time operations. You can expect the pace of this class to be slow and methodical\, as in the dark\, your safety is more important than trying to be fast.  \nWe provide rifles\, lasers\, helmets\, night vision\, and thermal scopes. You do not need to bring your own in order to attend this class. I have been teaching firearm safety\, self defense\, and the combat use of firearms for 11 years professionally.  I have been a teacher since 2006. I have trained kung fu since 2007. I completed sniper school in 2010. I have been licensed to carry a concealed weapon since 2013. I have traveled the country to learn from the best mentors and take the best instructor certification programs available. I have been to war and watched friends die. I have survived a guided missile\, helicopter rockets\, artillery bombardment\, aviation bombs\, strafing by infantry fighting vehicle cannon\, and disease on the front line. I trained\, equipped\, and in large part gave birth to the Ukrainian 47th Mechanized Brigade’s snipers and designated marksmen. I am a father and a husband and a small business owner. I have taught over 10\,000 students in Florida\, Texas\, Arizona\, Arkansas\, Nevada\, Ukraine\, and California. I own and operate at 300 acre dedicated tactical training facility only 1 hour from the bay area. DESCRIPTION:Combat Rifle Fundamentals is a technical marksmanship class which will teach the student the skills necessary to shoot a rifle accurately and confidently up to 4 minutes of angle which equates to 100% hit probability on a man sized target at 400 meters. Our primary focus in shooting stance will be to learn the Rifleman’s prone position\, also known as unsupported prone positions. This class is calm and slow\, and does not require any running\, crawling\, or other athletic movement. \n\nThis class is part of the summer 2025 Combat Rifle Small Group Semi-Private Class Series. We schedule classes based upon the student’s request\, with groups of 3-6 students at a time. This program consists of eight 5-hour modules. DESCRIPTION:D.O.P.E. is an acronym that stands for “data on prior engagements”. Generally you think of a rifle’s zero as calibrating the rifle’s point of impact to the point of aim at one distance. In long distance rifle shooting we actually have a baseline zero like normal\, then we gather as many as possible additional zeros at known distances in order to gather data such that we compile a notebook full of information for future use.  \nExpect our training to begin by confirming zero at 100 meters on paper\, then we will move back to shoot at steel targets from 100 meters all the way out to 1000 meters.  \nOur goal is to build up your shooting skills and consistency such that you can reliably achieve 1 minute of angle groups with either the bolt action or semi automatic sniper rifle\, which will equate to effective range on man sized targets at 1200 meters and beyond.  \nRemember\, we can provide for you all weapon systems\, scopes\, ammunition\, and equipment. You are certainly welcome to bring and use your own\, but buying expensive gear is not necessary to participate in this training course. DESCRIPTION:D.O.P.E. is an acronym that stands for “data on prior engagements”. Generally you think of a rifle’s zero as calibrating the rifle’s point of impact to the point of aim at one distance. In long distance rifle shooting we actually have a baseline zero like normal\, then we gather as many as possible additional zeros at known distances in order to gather data to predict future shots.  \nExpect our training to begin by confirming zero at 100 meters on paper\, then we will move back to shoot at steel targets from 100 meters all the way out to 1000 meters.  \nRemember\, we can provide for you all weapon systems\, scopes\, ammunition\, and equipment. You are certainly welcome to bring and use your own\, but buying expensive gear is not necessary to participate in this training course. DESCRIPTION:In precision long range rifle shooting\, distance and elevation corrections are very predictable and easy to calculate. That is a science. On the other hand\, feeling the wind\, seeing the wind\, predicting the wind\, knowing how the wind flows – how the sun\, weather\, oceans\, and mountains affects the flow of air over the earth – that is an art that takes nuance and experience to master. In this module I will present to you key concepts for how to visualize how the wind is moving\, then a few simple quick mathematical formulas for how to estimate how much the wind will effect your bullet in flight\, and how to compensate for it. Then\, we will practice together\, and on your own you will practice\, and practice\, and practice.  \nExpect our training to begin by confirming zero at 100 meters on paper\, then we will move to the western ridge to engage targets across the valley between 400 and 1200 meters distance with distinct and challenging cross winds.  \nOur goal is to build up your experience reading the wind\, such that you can reliably achieve first round impacts on man sized targets at 600 meters\, 2nd round impacts out to 1000 meters.   \nRemember\, we can provide for you all weapon systems\, scopes\, ammunition\, and equipment. I have been teaching firearm safety\, self defense\, and the combat use of firearms for 11 years professionally.  I have been a teacher since 2006. I have trained kung fu since 2007. I completed sniper school in 2010. I have been licensed to carry a concealed weapon since 2013. I have traveled the country to learn from the best mentors and take the best instructor certification programs available. I have been to war and watched friends die. I have survived a guided missile\, helicopter rockets\, artillery bombardment\, aviation bombs\, strafing by infantry fighting vehicle cannon\, and disease on the front line. I trained\, equipped\, and in large part gave birth to the Ukrainian 47th Mechanized Brigade’s snipers and designated marksmen. I am a father and a husband and a small business owner. I have taught over 10\,000 students in Florida\, Texas\, Arizona\, Arkansas\, Nevada\, Ukraine\, and California. I own and operate at 300 acre dedicated tactical training facility only 1 hour from the bay area. DESCRIPTION:Combat Rifle Fundamentals is a technical marksmanship class which will teach the student the skills necessary to shoot a rifle accurately and confidently up to 4 minutes of angle which equates to 100% hit probability on a man sized target at 400 meters. Our primary focus in shooting stance will be to learn the Rifleman’s prone position\, also known as unsupported prone positions. DESCRIPTION:Basic Combat Rifle is the starting point for all combat rifle and precision rifle training at our school. This class will give you a foundation in weapons handling\, moving\, and safety so that you can succeed in your future advanced training.  \nThis class is part of the Combat Rifle School. We schedule small group instruction based upon the your request. This program consists of the following 48 unique five hour modules\, plus additional practical and field exercises.
