SUMMARY:American Rifle 29OCT25
DESCRIPTION:Today in the United States we are blessed to have an amazing selection of options for buying\, building\, and customizing AR15 or AR10 style rifles to perfectly fit the user’s needs and desires. Unfortunately this leads us to a new problem: Too many choices! How do you choose which parts to buy and use on your perfect rifle build? It takes years to sift through forums\, YouTube videos\, how-to guides\, and gun shop scuttlebutt to figure out what you need\, why\, and how to build it. \nIn this class I present to you 20 years of experience using\, and training professionally with the AR15/AR10 family of weapons. I have seen tens of thousands of students and their rifles and observed what works\, what doesn’t work\, what falls off or breaks\, and what is a waste of money. I will give you all the skills necessary\, to properly build\, and maintain your perfect rifle. I have striven to design a thorough hands on learning experience\, with the most detail in the shortest time possible. Expect 50% of your training to be talking\, and the other 50% to be hands on with weapons handling\, shooting\, moving etc. \nMy name is Brian Wang. I have been teaching firearm safety\, self defense\, and the combat use of firearms for 12 years professionally.  I have been a teacher since 2006. I have trained kung fu since 2007. I completed sniper school in 2010. I have been licensed to carry a concealed weapon since 2013. I have traveled the country to learn from the best mentors and take the best instructor certification programs available. I have been to war and watched friends die. I have survived a guided missile\, helicopter rockets\, artillery bombardment\, aviation bombs\, strafing by infantry fighting vehicle cannon\, and illness on the front line. I have been the victim of burglary\, arson\, unlawful arrest\, and domestic violence. I have eaten bologna sandwiches in jail\, and won in court. I am a father and a husband and a small business owner. I have taught over 10\,000 students in Florida\, Texas\, Arizona\, Arkansas\, Nevada\, Ukraine\, and California. I own and operate at 300 acre dedicated tactical training facility only 1 hour from the bay area. It is my honor to be your instructor\, and to bring you all of this knowledge for free. \nLet’s face it. If self defense was easy\, you could just watch a few videos\, and “figure it out” by yourself. Good people go to jail every day\, because they don’t know what they are doing. Good people become victims of crime every day\, because they don’t know what they are doing. Good people get hurt every day because they don’t know what they are doing. The study of firearms and self defense is a complex mixture of history\, science\, psychology\, and physical skill. Weapons are not toys\, and if used improperly can result in serious safety and legal consequences. \nThis is a free class. Hurry to sign up and secure your seat in the class. Space is limited\, so if we sell out\, email admin@monarchdefense.org to be added to the waiting list. Remember to email us if you change your mind or if you can’t come\, so we can give your seat to someone else. \nLearn: \nHistory and development of the AR15\nOperation and function of the AR15 family of weapons\nFederal firearm laws that pertain to rifles\nCA Assault weapon laws\, sin tax\, fixed mag vs. featureless\, and other stupidity \nCaliber selection\nBarrel selection\nHandguard selection\nOptic and accessory selection \nHow to field strip\nHow to disassemble and assemble\nTools necessary for rifle maintenance\nNames of all the parts \nA1 vs. A2 flash hider\nFlash hider vs. muzzle brake vs. compensator vs. silencer\nCrush washer vs. peel washer vs. split washer\nA1 vs. A2 profile vs. HBAR vs. SPR profile barrels \nM4 feedramps vs. no m4 feedramps\nFront sight base vs. rail mounted front sight\nA1 vs. A2 front sight\nF mark vs. non F mark front sight base \nPinned vs. set screw gas block\nAdjustable vs. fixed gas block\nPistol vs. carbine vs. midlength vs. rifle length gas system\nDirect gas impingement vs. piston \nFree floating handguard vs. non free floating handguard\nA1 vs. A2 vs. CAR vs. M4 handguard\nChrome lining vs. no chrome lining\nStainless steel barrel vs. carbon steel barrel\nNitride vs. parkerized finish\nOne piece handguards vs. two piece handguards \nA1 carry handle vs. A2 carry handle vs. A4 carry handle vs. flat top\nFolding vs. Fixed sights\nAcog vs. red dot vs. iron sights vs. LPVO\nShell deflector vs. no shell deflector\nForward assist vs. no forward assist \nMilspec vs. Ambidextrous lower receiver\nForged vs. milled (billet) receivers\nFull auto bolt carrier vs. Semi auto bolt carrier\nMilspec trigger guard vs. enlarged trigger guard\nA2 vs. A1 pistol grip\nMilspec trigger vs. 2 stage trigger vs. aftermarket trigger \nMilspec charging handle vs. ambidextrous charging handle\nCarbine vs. H vs. H2 vs. H3 vs. Rifle buffer\nCarbine receiver extension vs. rifle receiver extension\nA1 stock vs. A2 stock vs. CAR stock vs. m4 stock vs. aftermarket \nM16 sling vs. m14 sling vs. 1907 sling vs. GP strap vs. aftermarket sling\nAluminum STANAG aka. SUMMARY:American Rifle 3SEP25
SUMMARY:Ammunition Science 23MAR2025
DESCRIPTION:Ammunition Science is a semi-private class that will teach you how to master making your own pistol and rifle ammunition quickly\, safely\, cheaply\, and precisely. This training is provided in three parts: Part 1 will be theory and introduction taught hands on in person at our shop. Part 2 will be testing\, chronographing and grouping done at the shooting range. Part 3 will be high volume production back in the shop.  \nThis specific date is for Part 1\, the longest part. Because the training is so hand-on\, we set a maximum class size of only 4 students. Due to the small class size and high demand\, if all tickets are sold out\, please email admin@monarchdefense.org to be added to the wait list\, and you will be notified of the next available date\, or if a spot opens up due to cancellation. You will schedule parts 2 and 3 later 1-on-1 with me\, and it is flexible to your schedule. If you buy this class\, you are paying for all 3 parts\, plus all tools\, presses\, dies\, powder\, primers\, bullets\, targets\, chronograph\, and six months of unlimited range time… plenty of everything to complete your first hand loading project. We even have several sets of presses\, dies\, scales\, and other tools for you that you can take and keep if you want\, to help get you started.  \nThere are 3 reasons why you would consider making your own ammunition:  \n\nBecause the ammo you want is hard to get. For example\, you are looking to make subsonic ammunition perfectly tuned to your barrel\, lead free hunting ammunition for California hunting requirements\, lead free frangible close range training ammunition\, major power factor competition ammunition\, or rare ammunition for obsolete antique firearms. \nBecause the ammo you make is better than factory ammo. All rifles are different\, and to tap into the fullest precision and accuracy your weapon can offer\, you will need to custom tune the ammunition to that unique weapon. If you are consistently shooting 1 Minute Of Angle and you want to start shooting consistently 1/2 Minute Of Angle\, it’s time to start handloading. \nTo save money. SUMMARY:Ammunition Science 2MAR2025
Because the training is so hand-on\, we set a maximum class size of only 3 students. Due to the small class size and high demand\, if all tickets are sold out\, please email admin@monarchdefense.org to be added to the wait list\, and you will be notified of the next available date\, or if a spot opens up due to cancellation. We will schedule parts 2 and 3 later 1-on-1 and it is flexible to your schedule. If you are consistently shooting 1 Minute Of Angle and you want to start shooting consistently 1/2 Minute Of Angle? It’s time to start handloading. \nTo save money. Especially if combined with the first 2 reasons.  \nI lied\, there is a 4th reason: Because you think the science of rifles and ammunition is fascinating and you want to learn just because it is cool. \nI lied again: Because you live in California and you believe the California ammunition background check and 11% “sin” tax are unconstitutional and evil\, so you insist on make your own in protest. \n\nLearn:  \n4 Components of modern metallic cartridgesHow ammunition worksBullet selectionPowder selectionCase sorting Washing or cleaningDryingMedia separationLubricationAnnealingResizing TrimmingDeprimingPrimer pocket preparation Neck sizingPrimingDispensing powderSeating bulletCrimping case mouthPolishingQuality controlChoosing and buying a pressHigh precision long range rifle handloadingHigh volume progressive and automated reloadingOther tools you will needWorking up a safe powder chargeUnderstanding how to use reloading manuals and chartsChronographing and grouping your loadsThorough record keepingPrerequisite: \nYou must have prior safe weapons handling experience.  \nLocation: \nOur shop space is in San Jose.
