DESCRIPTION:High Intensity Gunfighting Drills is not designed to teach any specific techniques\, but rather provide the student with an opportunity for high repetition\, high round count guided practice\, providing a safe place to experiment and fail\, and helping the student develop confidence in his or her gun handling abilities. The value in this training module is variety. Hence each of these classes will be unique and will cater to the skill level and needs of the class. DESCRIPTION:In this specialty seminar let’s understand the unique tool that is the shotgun. Shotguns have a long history of defensive usage and they have significant advantages in some ways\, but significant disadvantages in others. Compare and contrast the the performance\, ease of use\, cost\, and complexity of semi automatic shotguns versus pump action shotguns\, 12 gauge versus 20 gauge shotguns\, 00 buckshot vs #1 buckshot\, vs #2\, 3\, and 4 buckshot. Consider the purpose and proper usage of slugs. Learn how various loads will pattern for your particular gun\, barrel length and choke. Over the last 12 years of teaching professionally\, I have striven to design a thorough hands on learning experience which answers all of the questions that you need to know to get started\, especially with regards to experiential knowledge that you must learn by doing and can’t just find online. DESCRIPTION:Introduction to Defensive Handgun is a full day class which will efficiently introduce novice students to the equipment\, knowledge\, and skill necessary to use a pistol or revolver safely and confidently. Students will learn safety rules\, how to load and unload\, grip\, stance\, aiming\, and shooting. All equipment and ammunition are provided\, but you can bring your own if you wish.  \nMost of our classes these days are structured with prerequisites for long term commitment customers. This full day of training is priced and organized as a stand-alone class that favors convenience for new customers who are not\, and likely will not become\, subscription based members of the Combat Rifle School. This class includes the core curriculum found in the module Basic Defensive Handgun\, as well as elements from Self Defense Theory\, Defensive Handgun Theory\, Defensive Handgun Fundamentals\, and Close Quarter Defensive Handgun. It is a one stop comprehensive introduction to everything you need to know to get started.  \nMy name is Brian Wang. I have been teaching firearm safety\, self defense\, and the combat use of firearms for 12 years professionally.  I have been a teacher since 2006. I have trained kung fu since 2007. I completed sniper school in 2010. I have been licensed to carry a concealed weapon since 2013. I have traveled the country to learn from the best mentors and have completed the best instructor certification programs available\, to bring efficient and effective training to you. I have been to war and watched friends die. I have survived missiles\, helicopters\, artillery\, bombs\, and illness and stubborn bureaucracy to bring you the best experiences possible. I have been the victim of burglary\, arson\, unlawful arrest\, and domestic violence. I have eaten bologna sandwiches in jail\, and won in court. DESCRIPTION:High Intensity Gunfighting Drills is not designed to teach any specific techniques\, but rather provide the student with an opportunity for high repetition\, high round count guided practice\, providing a safe place to experiment and fail\, and helping the student develop confidence in his or her gun handling abilities. The value in this training module is variety. Hence each of these classes will be unique and will cater to the skill level and needs of the class. My intention is that students regularly repeat this module\, and can use this as a blank canvas to express their growth in the martial art and science of firearms for self defense.  \nThis class is part of the Combat Rifle School. DESCRIPTION:Basic Defensive Handgun will introduce to the student all the skills necessary for using a pistol or revolver safely and confidently. Students will learn safety procedures\, ready positions\, the 6 primary weapon manipulation drills\, shooting stances\, holster draw procedures\, moving and shooting. Your goal is to be able to draw and fire a handgun within 1.5 seconds\, hit a man sized target out to 100 meters\, accurately deliver incapacitating shots on vital organs out to 17 meters\, and shoot 5 rounds per second while maintaining full recoil control\, both one handed\, and two handed\, in daylight and in darkness.    \nThis class is part of the Combat Rifle School. We schedule small group instruction based upon the your request. This program consists of the following 50 unique training modules\, plus additional practical and field exercises. DESCRIPTION:In this specialty seminar let’s understand the unique tool that is the shotgun. Shotguns have a long history of defensive usage and they have significant advantages in some ways\, but significant disadvantages in others. Compare and contrast the the performance\, ease of use\, cost\, and complexity of semi automatic shotguns versus pump action shotguns\, 12 gauge versus 20 gauge shotguns\, 00 buckshot vs #1 buckshot\, vs #2\, 3\, and 4 buckshot. Consider the purpose and proper usage of slugs. Learn how various loads will pattern for your particular gun\, barrel length and choke. DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Monarch Defense’s Firearm Safety Class. This is a pro bono community service project led by myself\, Brian Wang\, and assisted by many donors and volunteers each month who have helped to make this program a lasting success. Over the last 12 years of teaching professionally\, I have striven to design a thorough hands on learning experience which answers all of the questions that you need to know to get started\, especially with regards to experiential knowledge that you must learn by doing and can’t just find online. This program exists to prepare you for a successful future in protecting yourself\, so that you can make wise decisions regarding buying\, learning\, carrying\, and using firearms. \nLearn:  \nSafe firearm handling procedures\nFirearm disassembly\, cleaning\, and reassembly\nRole of weapons in society \nHow to load\, unload\, stand\, hold\, aim\, and fire pistols\, revolvers\, rifles\, and shotguns.\nExperience first hand the recoil\, weight\, noise\, ease or difficulty of use\, and accuracy of different firearms \nShooting range commands and procedures\nUnderstanding ammunition\nChoosing a firearm for self defense \nPrerequisites: \nNone \nSpecial Policy Regarding Minors:  \nMonarch Defense welcomes youngsters to our firearm safety program\, and we will donate both tuition and ammunition for their learning. It is completely free to bring your teens or children to class. We leave it up to parents and guardians to decide at what age your child is ready to learn. Parent or guardian must be in the class with minors under 18.
