SUMMARY:Shoot Move Communicate 27SEP25
DESCRIPTION:Shoot\, Move\, Communicate is the student’s first introduction to modern American fighting tactics. It is your introduction to teamwork\, and how to shoot and move together safely. While most combat rifle classes are technical in nature\, this module is tactical in nature. Without an understanding of the context in the bigger picture\, or how fighting is done\, having and knowing how to shoot a gun is useless.  \nThis class is part of the Combat Rifle School. We schedule small group instruction based upon the your request. This program consists of the following 49 unique five hour modules\, plus additional practical and field exercises. SUMMARY:American Rifle 1OCT25
DESCRIPTION:Today in the United States we are blessed to have an amazing selection of options for buying\, building\, and customizing AR15 or AR10 style rifles to perfectly fit the user’s needs and desires. Unfortunately this leads us to a new problem: Too many choices! How do you choose which parts to buy and use on your perfect rifle build? It takes years to sift through forums\, YouTube videos\, how-to guides\, and gun shop scuttlebutt to figure out what you need\, why\, and how to build it. \nIn this class I present to you 20 years of experience using\, and training professionally with the AR15/AR10 family of weapons. I have seen tens of thousands of students and their rifles and observed what works\, what doesn’t work\, what falls off or breaks\, and what is a waste of money. I will give you all the skills necessary\, to properly build\, and maintain your perfect rifle. I have striven to design a thorough hands on learning experience\, with the most detail in the shortest time possible. Expect 50% of your training to be talking\, and the other 50% to be hands on with weapons handling\, shooting\, moving etc. \nMy name is Brian Wang. I have been teaching firearm safety\, self defense\, and the combat use of firearms for 12 years professionally.  I have been a teacher since 2006. I have trained kung fu since 2007. I completed sniper school in 2010. I have been licensed to carry a concealed weapon since 2013. I have traveled the country to learn from the best mentors and take the best instructor certification programs available. I have been to war and watched friends die. I have survived a guided missile\, helicopter rockets\, artillery bombardment\, aviation bombs\, strafing by infantry fighting vehicle cannon\, and illness on the front line. I have been the victim of burglary\, arson\, unlawful arrest\, and domestic violence. I have eaten bologna sandwiches in jail\, and won in court. I am a father and a husband and a small business owner. I have taught over 10\,000 students in Florida\, Texas\, Arizona\, Arkansas\, Nevada\, Ukraine\, and California. I own and operate at 300 acre dedicated tactical training facility only 1 hour from the bay area. It is my honor to be your instructor\, and to bring you all of this knowledge for free. \nLet’s face it. If self defense was easy\, you could just watch a few videos\, and “figure it out” by yourself. Good people go to jail every day\, because they don’t know what they are doing. Good people become victims of crime every day\, because they don’t know what they are doing. Good people get hurt every day because they don’t know what they are doing. The study of firearms and self defense is a complex mixture of history\, science\, psychology\, and physical skill. Weapons are not toys\, and if used improperly can result in serious safety and legal consequences. \nThis is a free class. Hurry to sign up and secure your seat in the class. Space is limited\, so if we sell out\, email admin@monarchdefense.org to be added to the waiting list. Remember to email us if you change your mind or if you can’t come\, so we can give your seat to someone else. \nLearn: \nHistory and development of the AR15\nOperation and function of the AR15 family of weapons\nFederal firearm laws that pertain to rifles\nCA Assault weapon laws\, sin tax\, fixed mag vs. featureless\, and other stupidity \nCaliber selection\nBarrel selection\nHandguard selection\nOptic and accessory selection \nHow to field strip\nHow to disassemble and assemble\nTools necessary for rifle maintenance\nNames of all the parts \nA1 vs. A2 flash hider\nFlash hider vs. muzzle brake vs. compensator vs. silencer\nCrush washer vs. peel washer vs. split washer\nA1 vs. A2 profile vs. HBAR vs. SPR profile barrels \nM4 feedramps vs. no m4 feedramps\nFront sight base vs. rail mounted front sight\nA1 vs. A2 front sight\nF mark vs. non F mark front sight base \nPinned vs. set screw gas block\nAdjustable vs. fixed gas block\nPistol vs. carbine vs. midlength vs. rifle length gas system\nDirect gas impingement vs. piston \nFree floating handguard vs. non free floating handguard\nA1 vs. A2 vs. CAR vs. M4 handguard\nChrome lining vs. no chrome lining\nStainless steel barrel vs. carbon steel barrel\nNitride vs. parkerized finish\nOne piece handguards vs. two piece handguards \nA1 carry handle vs. A2 carry handle vs. A4 carry handle vs. flat top\nFolding vs. Fixed sights\nAcog vs. red dot vs. iron sights vs. LPVO\nShell deflector vs. no shell deflector\nForward assist vs. no forward assist \nMilspec vs. Ambidextrous lower receiver\nForged vs. milled (billet) receivers\nFull auto bolt carrier vs. Semi auto bolt carrier\nMilspec trigger guard vs. enlarged trigger guard\nA2 vs. A1 pistol grip\nMilspec trigger vs. 2 stage trigger vs. aftermarket trigger \nMilspec charging handle vs. ambidextrous charging handle\nCarbine vs. H vs. H2 vs. H3 vs. Rifle buffer\nCarbine receiver extension vs. rifle receiver extension\nA1 stock vs. A2 stock vs. CAR stock vs. m4 stock vs. aftermarket \nM16 sling vs. m14 sling vs. 1907 sling vs. GP strap vs. aftermarket sling\nAluminum STANAG aka. SUMMARY:Tactical Precision Rifle 5OCT25
DESCRIPTION:In this final module of the Tactical Precision Rifle Series\, we will put everything that you have learned together to help you develop as a well practiced\, cohesive\, and confident shooter and team member. You will be responsible for finding the distance to your target\, for zeroing your weapon\, for developing firing solutions\, for spotting each other\, and for estimating your own wind calls. In other words\, all other CR and TPR modules were simply to prepare you for starting your actual training now.  \nRemember\, we can provide for you all weapon systems\, scopes\, ammunition\, and equipment. You are certainly welcome to bring and use your own\, but buying expensive gear is not necessary to participate in this training course. Always communicate proactively with the instructor if you need to use the school’s equipment and ammunition so that we can prepare for you.  \nThis class is part of the Combat Rifle School. If you want to go to the public range and entertain yourself at 100 yards with your elbows on a table\, be my guest\, but that sounds boring to me. If you want to go out to public land and have stray bullets wiz past you from random strangers who don’t care about your safety\, be my guest to talk with my friend and student Mike who got shot through both legs. If you want to be forever an “experienced beginner”\, be my guest. Youtube Tactical University is always free\, but your time is valuable. Or\, take the bold first step to beginning your formal education on combat rifle craft from a seasoned professional. \nThis class is designed to provide beginners with a solid introduction to the attitude\, skill\, and knowledge you will need to succeed in the journey towards becoming expert riflemen.  \nMy name is Brian Wang. I have been teaching firearm safety\, self defense\, and the combat use of firearms for 11 years professionally. I have survived a guided missile\, helicopter rockets\, artillery bombardment\, aviation bombs\, strafing by infantry fighting vehicle cannon\, and disease on the front line. I trained\, equipped\, and in large part gave birth to the Ukrainian 47th Mechanized Brigade’s snipers and designated marksmen. \nI have striven to design a thorough hands on learning experience\, with the most detail in the shortest time possible. Expect 50% of your class to be lecture and discussion\, and 50% to be hands on with guns\, shooting\, and moving.  \nCancellations: \nIf you do not plan to attend\, notify us immediately so that we can give your spot in class to another student. SUMMARY:American Rifle 15OCT25
SUMMARY:American Rifle 29OCT25
SUMMARY:Shoot Move Communicate 2NOV25
This program consists of the following 50 unique five hour modules\, plus additional practical and field exercises. SUMMARY:Self Defense Theory 2NOV25
DESCRIPTION:Over the years\, the most frequent requests for training have been how to protect the family in the event of a burglary or home invasion. In this class\, we seek to understand how criminals think\, how break-ins and burglaries happen\, and how best to defend yourself with a firearm in the confines of the urban space. Through partnership with the wonderful folks at MPT\, we are now able to offer affordable\, local education to new firearm owners to answer your most important questions! \nThis is a free class\, with a non refundable facility rental fee. Hurry to sign up and secure your seat in the class. Space is limited\, so if we sell out\, email admin@monarchdefense.org to be added to the waiting list. Remember to email us if you change your mind or if you can’t come\, so we can give your seat to someone else. \nLearn: \nReal self defense case studies\nCriminal psychology\, how bad guys think and operate\nDefinitions and examples of common crimes\nWhen and when not to draw and shoot in self defense\nMyths vs. reality of overpenetration\, stopping power\, warning shots\, shooting the legs\, etc. \nHow to choose firearms and ammunition for defense\nHow to pass the Firearm Safety Certificate\nHow to safely load\, unload\, and shoot\nHow to lock and store your weapon\nBest practices for firearm ownership and use \nCalifornia firearm ownership laws\nCalifornia assault weapon laws\nCalifornia firearm carry and transportation laws\nPolice\, court\, jail\, and how the American legal system works\nOrientation to our school\, our classes\, pricing\, and programs for further training \nLet’s face it. \nThis class is designed to provide beginners with a solid introduction to the attitude\, skill\, and knowledge you need to succeed in firearm ownership. \nMy name is Brian Wang. I have been teaching firearm safety\, self defense\, and the combat use of firearms for 11 years professionally. I have survived a guided missile\, helicopter rockets\, artillery bombardment\, aviation bombs\, strafing by infantry fighting vehicle cannon\, and disease. \nI have striven to design a thorough hands on learning experience\, with the most detail in the shortest time possible. Expect 50% of your training to be lecture and discussion\, and 50% to be hands on with guns\, shooting\, and moving. You will handle and learn about a variety of modern firearms\, including pistols\, revolvers\, carbines\, and shotguns. \nLocation: \nThis class is taught at MPT\, a gun shop. The address is 1331 Jacklin Rd\, Milpitas\, CA 95035. \nPrerequisites: \nNone \nCancellations: \nIf you do not plan to attend\, notify us immediately so that we can give your spot in class to another student. If you register for a class then no-show\, you will be charged a $50 Pain In the Ass fee. We do not issue refunds. By registering for this class you indicate that you have read and agree to this policy. Questions? SUMMARY:Special Purpose Rifle School 6NOV25 to 9NOV25
DESCRIPTION:Special Purpose Rifle School is an intense 4 day immersion training experience that spans a multitude of disciplines\, each topic designed to help build the student into a capable\, confident\, and competent warrior who can succeed in armed conflict on the modern battlefield. For some students\, this will be a crash course from the beginning to advanced technical rifle shooting and modern fighting doctrine. For others\, this will be the culminating event for students who have trained for months on combat riflecraft\, precision riflecraft\, and small unit tactics\, who are looking to push themselves hard and test their skills and equipment.  \nMy name is Brian Wang. I have taught firearm safety\, self defense\, and the combat use of firearms for 12 years professionally.  I have been a professional teacher since 2006. I have trained kung fu since 2007. I completed sniper school in 2010. I have been licensed to carry a concealed weapon since 2013. I have traveled the country to learn from the best mentors and have completed the best instructor certification programs available\, to bring efficient and effective training to you. I have been to war and watched friends die. I have survived missiles\, helicopters\, artillery\, bombs\, illness\, and stubborn bureaucracy to bring you the best training experiences possible. I am a veteran of the Ukraine war. I have trained soldiers and snipers and developed logistics and training programs for entire military brigades. It is my honor to be your instructor.  \nWe at Monarch Defense believe that there is no such thing as “advanced training”\, but rather\, there is only mastery of the basics. Therefore\, you can view this training event as an intense review and test to see whether or not you have indeed mastered the basics. From the start of development of our Special Purpose Rifle School back in the spring of 2021\, it was developed as training at the level of the instructors\, to which a select few high competency students were invited. It is our research and development proving ground\, for new curriculum\, training methodologies\, and technologies. It is where we push ourselves in the cold\, the wet\, the sore and sleepless nights\, and where we test our gear to the point of failure.  \nStudents who are currently enrolled in the Combat Rifle School are eligible to attend the entirety\, or just select parts of Special Purpose Rifle School. Students joining us from outside\, who are not subscription customers have the option to join the full Combat Rifle School for unlimited access to all of our classes\, equipment\, and training facility for six months for $995\, or these 4 days of training only at $795. Either way\, we provide you the highest quality of private dedicated tactical training facility\, loaner weapons\, scopes\, training grenades\, day and night optics\, targets\, ammunition\, equipment\, and resources to ensure you have a safe\, fun\, challenging\, and life changing learning experience.   \nWelcome\, warriors.
