DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Monarch Defense’s Firearm Safety Class. This is a pro bono community service project led by myself\, Brian Wang\, and assisted by many donors and volunteers each month who have helped to make this program a lasting success. Over the last 12 years of teaching professionally\, I have striven to design a thorough hands on learning experience which answers all of the questions that you need to know to get started\, especially with regards to experiential knowledge that you must learn by doing and can’t just find online. This program exists to prepare you for a successful future in protecting yourself\, so that you can make wise decisions regarding buying\, learning\, carrying\, and using firearms. \nLearn:  \nSafe firearm handling procedures\nFirearm disassembly\, cleaning\, and reassembly\nRole of weapons in society \nHow to load\, unload\, stand\, hold\, aim\, and fire pistols\, revolvers\, rifles\, and shotguns.\nExperience first hand the recoil\, weight\, noise\, ease or difficulty of use\, and accuracy of different firearms \nShooting range commands and procedures\nUnderstanding ammunition\nChoosing a firearm for self defense \nPrerequisites: \nNone \nSpecial Policy Regarding Minors:  \nMonarch Defense welcomes youngsters to our firearm safety program\, and we will donate both tuition and ammunition for their learning. It is completely free to bring your teens or children to class. We leave it up to parents and guardians to decide at what age your child is ready to learn. Parent or guardian must be in the class with minors under 18.
