DESCRIPTION:Basic Defensive Handgun will introduce to the student all the skills necessary for using a pistol or revolver safely and confidently. Students will learn safety procedures\, ready positions\, the 6 primary weapon manipulation drills\, shooting stances\, holster draw procedures\, moving and shooting. Your goal is to be able to draw and fire a handgun within 1.5 seconds\, hit a man sized target out to 100 meters\, accurately deliver incapacitating shots on vital organs out to 17 meters\, and shoot 5 rounds per second while maintaining full recoil control\, both one handed\, and two handed\, in daylight and in darkness.    \nThis class is part of the Combat Rifle School.
