A Busy September Ahead! Check out all the great upcoming classes, shooting competitions and events at www.monarchdefense.org!
Thank you guys for an awesome weekend!
Monarch Butterflies on naturally growing milkweed at the facility. #Bay Area, #California. Do you know why we are called “Monarch Defense”? The monarch butterfly, like all organisms, has a natural defense mechanism. It lays its eggs on, and its caterpillars feed on milkweed, which contains a natural toxin. Any predator that eats the butterfly or it’s caterpillar larvae ends up very sick. Thus, they quickly learn to stay away from bright orange #butterflies. To think, if such a peaceful, delicate, and beautiful creature has even the basic understanding of predators and prey, and has devised a #defense mechanism, so too can you. You don’t need to be big, strong, or violent in order to understand the nature of victim and #criminal, invader or #defender, and with our human innate ability to use and make tools, you too can protect yourself and your #family.
New targets! (And mulch for the range) #steel #target #ctstargets
Woooo #Magnetospeed T1000 in the house!
Testing out the new #magnetospeed #t1000 target hit indicator for use in scoring suppressive fire. :) no tactical or shooting competition till now has had a method to quantitatively score effective suppressing fire. :)
Just please don’t shoot my mirror!
You were the kindest, a brave volunteer. An inspiration for all of us. Thank you for being my student. Thank you for protecting the innocent. Thank you for giving everything @lana.smolenskaya
You were the best Lana. You smiled so bright, you learned so fast. You were compassionate and helped others. You loved learning to use the Browning heavy machine gun and Bushmaster 25mm cannon. You had so much life ahead of you. Remember how I washed your socks with my laundry last year? During the bombing and artillery your socks fell off the clotheslines, and I went looking for them outside at night with night vision on, and because they were so small, I couldn’t see them on the ground in front of me, mixed in the broken glass. Then we saw you just in February when you were leaving for Germany with 3rd battalion. You smiled and showed me a video of you driving an armored vehicle. You were so proud. Denis told me your Bradley hit a mine, and that you were hurt bad…. I waited and waited to hear the good news of your recovery. I’m sorry. #ukraine #svetlana #smolenska #hero #47brigade
When is it time to play in the woods? Special Purpose Rifle School 10/26 to 10/29. Learn more at www.monarchdefense.org
Of course for the gram we only edit the good part, isn’t that right fan club? #mp5 #nfa #silencer #magpul #hecklerkoch #9mm

"Brian was able to work with my injured friend so that he could experience the class despite crutches, and was able to adjust to each student as needed. Excellent class for those who already carry pepper-spray, or for those (like me) who thought they didn't need or know how to use it."
